It was an amazingly hot day. We were standing in line waiting. All of the sudden, streams and streams of young women dressed in blue passed by us headed into the Kotel. Looking over the side of a ramp, we could see that the girls were moving into the women’s side of the space in front of the Western Wall, the final remaining portion of the ancient wall that surrounded the Holy Temple. While the men’s half of the “Wailing Wall” was almost vacant, the young girls filled the segment reserved for women, overflowing to fill the entire area, even to the back of the plaza. There they stood in the Israeli sun and prayed. They were praying for rain in the middle of a drought. As they pressed forward, the barrier limiting the space available to them shifted. At first it edged. Finally the Rabbis came and moved it over to allow the women in blue some of the space reserved for themselves. At last the women in blue took their place. And yes, it rained that weekend.

Conference Summary:
Open Vision International, led by Rick and Lee Anna Stoker, is dedicated to helping people identify their vision, nurture their character, and equip them for action. About three years ago the Lord began to speak to Rick and Lee Anna about women taking their place in the body of Christ. In January 2010 the Lord again spoke to Rick about a season of doors opened for women like never before. Two months later, while upstairs in his home praying, God filled the room with His presence and told Rick to host a conference of female leaders who had not been much seen or heard from before. Their names were given to him, along with a prophetic word for each speaker. "Beyond the Fence" Women's Conference is the fruit of that experience.
Upon receiving this directive from the Lord, Rick remembered the fence that separated his property from his neighbors as a young boy. As a child he was told not to cross the fence, but in a dream he saw himself do just that and find the treasures of his inheritance on the other side of the fence. Rick and Lee Anna’s mission during this season is to empower women to cross the fence into a new place where they can see and do new things. The Stokers invite you to come to “Beyond the Fence” conference in Wilmington, NC, August 26th-28th, 2010.
Wednesday, August 25th, there will be an Intercessors Empowerment Workshop with Tracy Schellhorn. Tracy is an anointed prophetic intercessor and teacher. She and her husband founded Manifest Ministries in 2000. Currently, she oversees and directs an international Intercessory Network. Conference sessions begin on Thursday night at 8pm; there will be sessions Friday and Saturday at 10am, 2pm, and 7pm, with a backyard luncheon each day. Plan to be visited by a holy God for a new future!
